Thanos Pantsos is an Athens-based director who grew up in Alexandroupolis.
He moved to the UK at the age of 18 to study architecture and later moved on to film studies. He graduated from Plymouth University as an architect and went on to postgraduate studies at Ealing Studios for film directing and producing.
In 2019, he directed the short film AT YOUR FINGERTIPS which was selected in the Cannes Film Festival programme (Le Cinéf Selection) and also screened at many festivals around the world.
One of his most recent works is the commission to create the promotional video for the international project FemaleFaces, a cinematic compilation of short films by directors and composers from around the world.
He is currently developing short films TO GRANDMA and BLIND SPOT, which he writes and directs.
